Among Margarida Bugarim's most recent interior design projects, one that stands out is an elegant, luxurious four-bedroom apartment in Estoril, with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. This project is a true tribute to the art of living well, harmoniously combining sophistication, comfort, and cultural identity.
Located in one of the most exclusive areas of the Portuguese coast, this spacious apartment was designed for a family with three children who were looking for a cozy, elegant, and functional home. With approximately 1,084 square feet, the main room plays a central role in the interior design project, with two distinct areas: a television area and a fireplace area.
The living room extends onto a spacious balcony facing the sea, designed as a true haven for contemplation and relaxation. The carefully chosen outdoor furniture and meticulously arranged vegetation convey a sense of harmony that makes it seem as if everything has always belonged there.
Each piece—from the chaise longue to the side table, from the ceramic vases to the broad-leafed plants—was selected with intention, reinforcing the connection between the interior and exterior. The sense of continuity and fluidity between the spaces is one of the hallmarks of Margarida Bugarim's work in luxury interior design.
The entire project was developed with attention to detail and respect for the residents' personalities. The white sofas, combined with light-colored rugs, convey serenity and lightness. The fabrics and textures were carefully chosen, prioritizing comfort and softness to create a truly welcoming environment.
To balance the neutral palette, Margarida Bugarim introduced an ethnic-inspired rug, which adds color and energy to the space. The black and white striped poufs and matching cushions bring dynamism and graphic strength, while the geometric patterned raffia wall covering, in shades of white and brick, adds sophistication without ostentation.
This interior design and decoration project in Estoril is a clear example of how personalized work with attention to detail can transform an apartment into a truly special home. The combination of timeless elegance and personal identity made the final result surprising and exciting for the owners.
